Problem

Problem 1: Interview Scheduling Challenges

Setting up and conducting interviews can be time-consuming and unpredictable. Often, interviews need to be rescheduled multiple times due to no-shows, leading to delays. When deadlines approach, we sometimes have to make assumptions and move forward without the insights we hoped to gather.

Problem 2: Need for Basic User Insights Without Interviews

When joining new teams or projects, I frequently need to understand basic user flows and gather foundational information. This often requires repeated inquiries to the team, which can slow down the project's progress.

Competitive Analysis

Character Ai focuses on finding individuals. Need to do more research on this ChatGPT, Gemini, & Llama: Great and you can make this work. But you have to create a new prompt every time. You also have to find the same person over and over again.

Concept

When I started working on an accounting product, I realized I didn’t fully understand our users’ jobs. With clients and my product manager often unavailable, I used ChatGPT to create an accountant persona to ask questions. This helped me gain insights, though it wasn’t always perfect. I came up with this idea for a ready-made list of diverse personas, each with unique backgrounds and communication styles, to save time and organized my personas in a easily accessible way.

I developed an AI prompt system that generates detailed personas based on factors like location, background, personality, and interests. Each user group gets five unique personas, enabling extensive questioning and exploration. This tool is designed to supplement user interviews by providing quick answers and uncovering hidden issues.

I realized the product sells AHA moments that you can then validate with real users.

Solution

Initially, I planned to offer a broad list of personas for users to interact with, similar to character ai website. Through testing on my own, I discovered the need for varied personas within similar groups to reflect different backgrounds. This led to the creation of user groups.

Additionally, I learned two things. One, that users prefer not to share created personas. Therefore, each user group is now associated with specific users or team within the same company. Two, that I needed to add images to differentiate the user group selection screen from the user selection screen.

I am currently collaborating with a developer to launch the product as soon as possible.
